When we started planning our trip from New York to New Zealand I knew I would need help. Somehow, I lucked out and found Sue Farley who was a god send. My husband and I travel frequently throughout the world, but never did I encounter such a terrific travel agent. Together we picked lodges that would both meet our needs and budget. Whatever she recommended was fabulous. Whenever we were getting picked up at airport or from the ferry there was always a driver with a friendly face waiting for us.
Sometimes however you really do not know how terrific someone is until something unexpected comes up. In our case when we traveled this past February just prior to the COVID-19 pandemic there was road closure due to flooding going to Milford sound. Not only did she communicate prior to our leaving NY she made a few different contingencies based on full road closure as well as convoy arrangements to ensure we could either get to Milford Sound Lodge or if not have a new lodging just in case.
Without Sue’s expertise we would have missed a wonderful part of New Zealand. Using a travel agent who lives in New Zealand is the only way to go and Sue Farley is the perfect person to ensure you have a fabulous trip! ”

Thank you for all the trip preparations. The trip was amazing on all accounts. Time spent at the lodge was outstanding. The [stay] in Christchurch was so nice, and again very accommodating. We loved that we were able to walk or take the trolley around the city.
Our pick ups and drivers were very informative and friendly. Everyone we came in contact with in New Zealand were extremely helpful and friendly.

The trip went incredibly smoothly from flights to transfers to tours. We had the most spectacular day at Doubtful Sound with unusually clear weather. The dolphins were active and the boat was able to make it to the sea. The hiking was beautiful and the food was indeed special. What an amazing setting!
